Every time this song pops up on my ipod i think of Bones and Pasha at a bar on shore leave.
I have this modern McChekov AU forming in my head where the crew are all con men. Bones got into it b/c with all the money he sends to his ex-wife he still wants to put more into the bank account he has set up for Johanna. Chekov got into it when he was a student from Russia learning in the US b/c he’s a genius but was (wrongfully) accused of cheating and got kicked out; his family disowned him so he needs the money for food and room.
Bones fakes documents and patches people up when things go shit and works with Jim a lot and occasionally Spock and Uhura. Pavel has only worked with Kirk once but works with Sulu and Scotty sometimes, he works a lot of background, mapping our buildings and helping Scotty with electronics and stuff.
Jim works with loads of people but eventually pulls in the best of the best to work a few high-reward cons.
Bones and Pavel meet and fall for eachother.
That’s kinda all I have?? IDK.

Summary: Leonard breaks up with Pavel. It’s for his own good, right?
Word Count: 9604
Summary: Bones is a sub, but he’s never allowed himself the opportunity to explore that side of him, until now, and he never expected to meet the sweet looking, Russian genius that has become his dom. And he certainly never expected them to be placed on the same ship first mission out.
Notes: Written for nanowrimo, based off a fic prompt by cadetchekov, who wanted dom!chekov/sub!bones and I was glad to comply. More may come, but I don’t know for certain as of yet. Read and enjoy :)
Leonard swallowed nervously and tried to resist the urge to turn tail and run away.
He’d never been on this side of town before, although it wasn’t as if he hadn’t thought about making the venture. In fact, he’d thought about it quite a lot. When he was a teenager, it had kind of plagued his thoughts, but then he had met Jocelyn and they had gotten married and there was no time for that kind of thinking.
But he wasn’t married anymore, hadn’t been for nearly three years now so why shouldn’t he try? Why shouldn’t he live his fantasies? He had no reason not to - except maybe the fact that he was kind of terrified.
He squelched down on the feeling and steeled himself, shoulders tensing, and forced himself to move, to push open the door and walk in. He squared up to the bouncer, hoping the huge man wouldn’t notice the frantic beating in his chest. The man merely grunted and inclined his head in silent admittance.
Devil’s Advocate was smoky, and loud and busy. Leonard hadn’t realised there were so many people in the small town that were…into that kind of thing. There was so much leather and bare skin that, dressed as he was in a button down and jeans, he felt out of place.
Maybe that was a good thing though. It made him stand out and it drew eyes to him.
He was at the bar, nursing a double shot of whiskey, when he was first approached. The woman was tall, dark skin clad in leather with a tantalising display of breast that his eyes darted involuntarily to. Her features were soft, but her gaze was predatory as they dragged along his body, and he suddenly felt the need to shy away. Whatever she saw, she must have liked it, judging by her wicked smile.
“I haven’t seen you around here before,” she commented, “Must be your first time here.”
Leonard smiled awkwardly. “Is it that obvious?”
She hummed. “Well, you do smell like a virgin.” He felt the rising need to be defensive, but then she pressed closer and the words died on his tongue. “But don’t worry hon, I can fix that. And I do love a man with stubble, it gives a good burn.”
Leonard gaped for a moment, uncertain and overwhelmed and god, what was he thinking? He was so not ready for this…
“Wictoria, I think you’re scaring the newbie,” a heavily accented voice teased.
McChekov || Hear Me Roar
I don’t even know. I got reeeeeaallly bored lol
So, about the last name. I really did officially change it to McCoy. I wanted this whole thing to seem more permanent, I guess. Because, frankly speaking, I am not sure about anything right now. One minute we are ok, then we are fighting, then we are having wild make-up sex. It’s like walking through the minefield. I don’t know why Leonard proposed in the first place and why I said ‘yes’. Damn, I am so young. (Damn, I’ve just said ‘damn’, just like him.)
(This is a beginning and a rough draft of the first couple paragraphs. Enjoy!)
Pavel stared out the window of his one bed, two bathroom apartment in New York. The snow was falling lightly on the balcony of the apartment and the sun cast a smooth glow on the snow against his metal balcony. He could hear the rushing of Taxis and buses down below, and the faint sound of Christmas Jingles. Christmas was a week away.
Pavel sighed. He was lonely. Which would be hard to say when he was in one of the most luxurious apartments he had ever owned. White leather sofas. White walls, and some walls that were mostly made of windows with a front view of the city. The apartment had all the new gadgets. A remote control fireplace, Starship models from before he was even born up to now and the newest advances in security. Everything that a young man could have wanted an more. Except Pavel didn’t want all the fancy things or even the boyfriend that was sleeping in his room right now. Especially not the boyfriend. Pavel wanted something and someone simpler. He wanted a simple life.
Pavel had been raised in Moscow, Russia. His parents were wealthy and decided that they would be better off in New York, the epitome town of the rich and wealthy. It’s where everyone went who were wealthy. And it’s where he and his parents went when he was only five years old. Pulled from Moscow, his homeland.
Now Pavel was seventeen and he was living on his own with his boyfriend Hikaru Sulu, who was probably the most stuck up man that Pavel had ever met. He was spoiled, rude and very self oriented. An egotistical asshole as Pavel had told someone once. Of course, Pavel stayed with Hikaru because for some reason Hikaru and Pavel seemed to have a small connection. It wasn’t a big one, but it was a connection nonetheless. They had met at a bar, both drunk off their minds. It’d been at least a year now and Pavel wasn’t happy with Hikaru, but he dealt with it. It’s what his parents wanted. Pavel with someone at least who was rich and decent. They weren’t happy with him being gay, but at least their son was dating a rich boy.
Today, Pavel was hoping to deter Hikaru by rejecting his offer of sex for what seemed like the hundredth time. Pavel was still a virgin and wasn’t going to lose his virginity to some asshole like Hikaru.
What if Pavel and Bones went down to explore a planet but their shuttle crash landed and they wake up in the planet’s hospital with no idea who they are.
They find their names on the items they crashed with and they end up bonding. When they get discharged they get a place together for ease and get jobs (maybe Bones instinctively knows medicine and Pavel can do engine work without even thinking about it but they don’t know why they know this stuff) and fall for each other. Seeing as they have no idea where they came from or why, they get together and build life.
Which is when Kirk finally finds them and comes down to get them, all excited they’re not dead. But they don’t know him, don’t believe him, don’t want to leave their new home. They talk about it but aren’t sure if they want to risk not loving eachother anymore for their old memories.
